Heavenly footer and forms!

So I went up to to the homesite to check things out yesterday. Let me just preface that things have been all around stressful in our lives lately for one reason or another and I've been soul searching and not getting anywhere. Not to mention my husband is going through yet another unexplained bout of vertigo, it's truly debilitating and I just keep praying that we can get some answers but we never seem to, but that's a whole other story. So, I was taking a few photos and posted them up on Facebook for my friends and family to see the progress and my Cousins wife in Colorado commented on something she saw that I didn't while I was taking the photo and I'm honestly hoping this is a sign of good things to come. The concrete forms in the photo show a distinct cross and the way the sun is setting and and shinning just makes it look so Devine. I was on the phone at the time with my dad almost in tears about everything that has been going on lately and i think this may have been a message from God telling me everything is going to be ok and that I just need to have a little more faith! Let me know what you guys think, good sign?? I hope so! God bless!

    1. Thank you for your prayers, I am starting to feel more optomistic, I think that I just needed to have a little more faith and trust in God and the more I trust in Him the more comfort and relief I feel. It's nice to know that I will have atleast one good neighbor! We should be closing around the same time! How is your build moving along? Let me know if you start a blog of your own! It's fun documenting everything and is very helpful too!

    2. You are welcome! I find so much comfort when I pray and then just let go and let God.
Our build is going well. I can't believe the amount of progress they are making. I went by yesterday and it looks the framing is complete, PM said the 'trades' will also start their work this week. This is our first home and I feel so blessed. How is your build going?
I think we may be on the same side of the plan.

    3. I think I saw your house then the other day! I was trying to look for a newly started Florence to see if I could find you! We are on the same side, just a little ways down the street, we are lot 216, it's the lot right before the road starts to curve into the culdesac. I love how we are getting that awesome beaded siding too! It looks so much better than the regular sidding that is on the first phase of the plan. We should be having the foundation poured soon, but who knows with the snow storm that we just got! I think I'm going to hold off visiting the site until the weekend when the weater warms up. How has your experience with our PM been so far? He seems like a really good guy to work with.

    4. We are lot 212! Wow. I know your lot because I always turn around in the cul-de-sac. That is my Florence, that gives me chills just saying it. I usually go visit on Sunday morning. It's my new ritual coffee and visit the site. I may go this Saturday to show some family members. So far, I have liked working with our PM. So far he has been really nice. Just wait till they start framing and you really see the house taking shape. It's exciting.

    5. How neat! We are only 5 houses down! Isn't it funny how small of a world it is sometimes :) Especially in this day and age! I'm going to stop by Saturday too since the weather will be warmer, I have a baptism on Sunday, which would be when I would usually go out after church, so who knows, maybe I will see you up there! I'm hoping that they will have the foundation poured by then, I still can't believe that we are only 2 1/2 months away from moving! It still doesn't feel real, in another month we will probably start packing!

  3. Okay, Rachel! This gave me the absolute chills! God is all over your home! I hope you plan to inscribe some scriptures on the framing once you can get inside before they drywall your home.

btw-my husband mentioned having vertigo today! It's usually a sign of unidentified stress even though he said he doesn't feel stressed. So know I will be praying for both husbands, your home and anything else that is calling forth for prayer. My prayer group and I rise every morning at 5:30 am. #itisdone

    1. Thanks for the kind words Nadase! I appreciate your prayers too, my Mom said she got the chills too after seeing it. And my husband is convinced that stress is causing it, even the the doctors say is isn't, stress causes the body to be inflamed, and inflamation in the ears can cause vertigo. He is a giant ball of stress right now and I just pray that he finds relief and calm within his soul. I worry about him so much!
