What a difference a day makes!

So yesterday I stopped by to check progress and we had 3 walls up! Then today, a whole house!!! It's incredible! We have half the roof on too!! It's amazing the difference 1 day makes! I also stopped by to see my sales rep Bev, she is the sweetest. She had a bag of homemade Easter candy for me and we chatted for a bit and met a neighbor down the road too. Everything is coming along!

    1. How exciting! We hit a little snag (atleast I hope it's little) with our egress window being put in the wrong spot, but I'm hoping that our PM can resolve it, I don't want to make an issue out of it yet, I'm giving RH the benefit of the doubt right now and trying to have faith it will work out!

    2. It is exciting one more step closer. Oh I hope it all gets worked out. I had to send a pic of the floor plan with an arrow pointing to where we wanted the egress window to the PM so he would know where to put. I am not good at describing things.

    3. We marked it right on the bluleprint at our pre-con meeting and my husband signed off on it, we talked about exactly where we wanted it, it is litteraly a "oh shit" mistake at this point, so I'm not sure what's going to happen now, b/c right now it's in the back, so we can never have a deck, and if we have a patio, we will have a huge ugly welled window in the way... not good :(

    4. We placed ours on the side of the house for the exact same reasons. If it is their mistake I would hope they fix it for you.

    5. me too! I lost sleep over it last night, I hope they can make it right, especially because we have limited back yard space, that thing is huge! And I guess everyone in our plan has it on the side for that reason too, so I'm not sure what happened with us, I'm crossing my fingers though that RH makes this right! Good luck at your meeting tomorrow!

    6. The space is limited back there, which is one reason we liked it less yard to deal with, but at the same you want to be able to maximize it with a deck or patio. My fingers are crossed for you too! Thanks!

  4. Wonderful new. I love meeting our new neighbors. It will be nice to all move into our little communities at the same time and bond.

  5. Looks good. Love the cottage elevation! Hopefully you get that egress window resolved without too much trouble, but if it's marked on the blueprint and you signed off on it, they have to make it right.
